With its 630.2 km², Toronto is the largest city in Canada. It is located in southeastern Canada, and it's the capital of Ontario, situated on the southern side of the province. Around it stretches the Golden Horseshoe, which forms the border between the USA and Canada. It is on the north-western shore of Lake Ontario.
